Boys' Brigade

Drumachose Girls’ Brigade was founded in 1974 and is still going strong some 35 years later, now under the Captaincy of Mrs Sandra Laird.
Our motto remains ‘Seek, Serve & Follow Christ’.
Our aim is ‘To help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life’.
We meet every Wednesday night from September to March and share fun, friendship and faith with each other. Explorers meet from 6.15 to 7.30 pm & the Juniors, Seniors & Brigaders meet from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
The girls follow a varied programme under the headings of:
Spiritual, Physical, Educational & Service
The girls work in different sections depending on their ages –
3-7 yrs – Explorers
8-10 yrs – Juniors
11- 13yrs – Seniors
14-16+ - Brigaders
Currently we have 65 members and 11 Officers. Our Company Structure is as follows :
